Two Included Probes for Cardiac Imaging and Doppler
Philips S5-1 Cardiac Ultrasound Probe
The S5-1 is a broadband sector-array transducer with a 1–5 MHz frequency range. It supports 2D echo imaging as well as color and spectral Doppler. In addition, this CX50 shows both Adult Echo and Pediatric Echo as permanent options.
Philips D2cwc 2 MHz CW Doppler Probe
The D2cwc is a dedicated continuous-wave (CW) Doppler probe for adult cardiology. It records a Doppler signal without producing a 2D image. In this bundle, the S5-1 provides the cardiac image, while the D2cwc gives you a separate probe for CW Doppler measurements.
Installed Options on This Philips CX50
The Options screen marks the following 13 entries as Permanent. These are the options shown on this unit.
- Echo: Adult Echo, Pediatric Echo, and Stress
- Cardiac tools: LVO Contrast, Physio, and Tissue Doppler Imaging (TDI)
- Exam workflow and reporting: Exam Protocols, DICOM Networking, and DICOM Structured Reporting
- QLAB modules: CMQ, IMT, ROI, and SQ
DICOM Networking and DICOM Structured Reporting are installed. However, your facility will still need to configure and verify the connection to its own PACS or reporting system.
The Options screen also marks Abdominal, Peripheral Vascular, OB/GYN, Live 3D, and Live xPlane as Not Installed. If you need a particular exam preset or feature, check the options shown for this unit before ordering.

The CX50 preset menu lists six supported transducers. The S5-1 and D2cwc ship with this package. The other four appear in the menu but are not part of the sale.

The supported transducer list and the installed software options are separate. For example, the X7-2t appears in the transducer menu, but the Options screen shows Live 3D and Live xPlane as not installed.
Condition, Battery, and Warranty
This is a pre owned Philips CX50. The product photos show the unit powered on and displaying its setup menus. They also show the console, probes, and accessories so you can review their cosmetic condition before ordering.
The Philips battery and external AC power adapter are included. However, battery runtime is not guaranteed. Internal testing puts the battery runtime at around 45 to 60 minutes depending on usage.
