Quality & Testing Process

Every device that leaves Simon Medical is inspected and functionally tested before it ships, so the equipment that arrives at your facility is ready for the work ahead. Since 2013 we have followed the same documented process on every order, and the steps below walk through exactly how we get a device from our bench to your OR.

1. A workflow we actually follow

We run every device through the same documented steps before it ships, so what you receive matches what you ordered. Nothing leaves here on a hunch.

2. Incoming Inspection

When equipment arrives, we identify it, look it over, and confirm its physical condition, completeness, and that it is the right product. If something does not add up, we write it down and sort it out before going any further.

3. Functional Testing

We power the device up and put it through testing suited to that equipment type, checking the operational features, controls, displays, connections, and accessories to make sure everything works the way it should.

4. Final Verification

Before a unit ships, one of us gives it a last look to confirm the testing is finished and the device meets our release standards.

5. Packaging & Delivery

We pack with the right protective materials so the equipment arrives in the condition it left in, and we double-check the shipment details before it goes out.

6. Always Refining

We pay attention to how things go (our own process, customer feedback, how the equipment performs in the field) and adjust where we can do better.
