The Philips FRx Infant/Child Key (REF 989803139311) is a reusable pediatric accessory for the Philips HeartStart FRx AED, model 861304. Add it to an existing FRx kit or use it to replace a missing key. This listing includes one new Philips key.
What the Philips FRx Pediatric Key Does
When the key is inserted, the FRx announces Infant/Child Mode and reduces the nominal shock energy from 150 joules to 50 joules. In addition, the AED offers infant and child CPR prompts when optional CPR coaching is selected. The diagram on the key shows front-and-back pad placement.

Which AED and Pads Are Compatible?
This key is made for the Philips HeartStart FRx AED (861304). The FRx uses HeartStart SMART Pads II (989803139261) in both adult and Infant/Child modes. As a result, you do not need a separate set of pediatric pads for the FRx.
